I am a writer, editor and communications manager with more than a decade of experience working in design and architecture. I hold an MA in Design Writing Criticism with Distinction from the London College of Communication, and currently work as Senior Editor within the Communications Studio (formerly known as the Print Studio) at the Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture. Here, the scope of my work includes writing, editing, proofreading, research and project management.
In an earlier role at the design studio A Practice for Everyday Life, my work as Communication & Editorial Manager encompassed the creation of written content for the studio portfolio, credentials packages, tender documents, press releases, blog and social media content, feature articles and interviews. Alongside and prior to this, I have worked extensively in design journalism on a freelance basis for a number of periodicals and publishers, and held several in-house positions on the editorial team at Grafik magazine, including Contributing Editor.
