I am a freelance writer, editor and image-maker based in Brighton. I hold a BA (Hons) in Illustration from the University of Westminster and an MA in Design Writing Criticism from the London College of Communication, and began my career on the editorial team of Grafik magazine, before moving into design management and production at A Practice for Everyday Life. Alongside my current freelance writing work and part-time role as Communication/Project Manager at APFEL, I am a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, working with BA Graphic Design & Illustration students at Levels 4 & 5.

I write about graphic design, illustration, game design and contemporary and historic print culture. Through my written work, I aim to explore creative and critical ideas within graphic design and visual culture, to highlight points of convergence between disciplines, and to interrogate methodologies within contemporary design practice.

As a copywriter, my experience includes writing press releases, pitches, presentations, blog and social media posts, and website and portfolio copy. To get in touch regarding a potential commission or collaboration, email a@annalisareynolds.com or call +44(0)7525015435.
